Azerbaijan positively assesses the development of the peace process with Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with the OSCE Chairman, Minister of Foreign, European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg, Report informs.
“Regarding the peace treaty, intensive negotiations between the two countries resumed at the end of last year and the beginning of this year. At the same time, our expectations for signing a peace treaty must be realistic. This is a very difficult process,” he said.
Bayramov added that negotiations with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Almaty were also a big step in this process.
