Japarov: Development of AI and digital technologies key area of cooperation within OTS

The Organization of Turkic States has strong potential to form its own geo-economic and technological space, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said during the informal OTS summit, according to Report's correspondent from Turkistan,

"I am sincerely pleased with today's meeting and its outcomes. Turkistan holds special value and potential for the Organization of Turkic States. Strengthening our friendship and cooperation clearly demonstrates our strength," Japarov stressed.

He noted that the theme of the current summit - artificial intelligence and digital technologies - demonstrates how rapidly the modern world is changing.

"Digital transformation and artificial intelligence are influencing the economy, education, healthcare, and all spheres of public life," Japarov said.

According to him, global competition for technological resources and leadership in the field of artificial intelligence is intensifying.

"In these conditions, the Organization of Turkic States has good opportunities to form its own geo-economic and technological space," he stated.

According to Japarov, the development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies is becoming one of the key areas for the advancement of the Turkic world.
