Italy, Azerbaijan discuss South Caucasus peace process

Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Italy Elchin Huseynli, with the sides discussing the peace process in the South Caucasus.

According to Report, citing a post on X by Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Farnesina), the talks focused on key political, economic and energy issues.

At the regional level, Cirielli reaffirmed Italy's commitment to supporting the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
