Israel and Azerbaijan to expand cooperation in various areas

"Israel is one of the first countries to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan is the first country to establish strategic relations with Israel," said Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek, Report informs.
"We are working together on important tasks such as diversification of energy supplies, economic relations, and regional security. These warm relations between our peoples are also evident in tourism, construction, business, and inter-religious relations. Facing the challenges of the future, we intend to strengthen our cooperation in water security, renewable energy, high technology, innovation, and other areas," the diplomat added.
