Iranian researcher: Existing opportunities should be used to strengthen Eurasian connectivity

Although opportunities for strengthening Eurasian connectivity are limited, they should be utilized, according to Morteza Damanpank Jami, a leading researcher at Iran's Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), Report informs.
Speaking at the 13th Meeting of the CICA Think Tank Forum, he highlighted that strengthening connectivity in the Eurasian continent will contribute to facilitating trade.
"At the same time, this will also help create favorable geo-economic conditions. The role of the International North-South Transport Corridor in Eurasian connectivity is undeniable. Significant progress can be achieved in this area through the joint efforts of CICA member states," the official added.
Damanpank Jami also drew attention to some geopolitical conflicts in the region: "Creating stability in the region is not impossible. For this, it is necessary to adopt a model of cooperation rather than competition, and to choose the principle of security and multilateralism."
