Pezeshkian: There are great opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan

Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has departed from Tehran to travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Report informs, citing Azad Iran, that at the Tehran airport, the President was accompanied by First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, the Deputy Director of International Affairs at Khamenei's office, and a group of government officials.

According to Report, before departing for Baku, Pezeshkian stated that there are great opportunities for enhancing cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"We will discuss trade, scientific, economic issues, as well as transit routes between Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia," he said, noting that this visit is being made upon the official invitation of the President of the friendly and brotherly country, the Republic of Azerbaijan.
