Indian expert praises development of Baku and city infrastructure

India and Azerbaijan possess great potential for cooperation in the field of urban development, exchange of technologies and experience in developing urban infrastructure, Managing Director of the Indian company Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd. Sanjay Kulshrestha told Report during WUF13 in Baku.

"If I compare with my country - India - we are also very developed. Cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad have large-scale and diverse infrastructure. Therefore, our countries are comparable in many ways, and there is great potential for the exchange of technologies, planning experience, and cooperation. I expect that many initiatives will be discussed between Azerbaijani architects, planners, and Indian specialists, as your city is very well planned," he said.

Kulshrestha also highly praised the development of Baku and the infrastructure solutions implemented in Azerbaijan.

"Yesterday I explored the city, and I can say that it is one of the best planned cities. It has one of the best infrastructures I have seen," noted Sanjay Kulshrestha.
