IMF chief: Equal distribution of vaccines among countries is important

It is necessary to get out of the economic crisis and improve resilience to future shocks, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva said in a video message to the participants of the 8th Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
It is important to work together to meet the toughest challenges, she said.
Thanks to vaccinations, countries are beginning to recover from the pandemic, she said. Georgieva also stressed the importance of the equal distribution of vaccines among countries.
