Ilham Aliyev: Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Investment Fund is the most efficient fund

The most efficient and results-oriented fund is precisely the Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Investment Fund, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at the 3rd meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

According to Report's correspondent in Tashkent, the head of state noted that projects worth around $160 million have already been identified out of the fund's $500 million resources.

"I must also mention that Azerbaijan has such formats of cooperation with various countries. However, I would say that the most efficient and results-oriented fund is precisely the Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Investment Fund. Yet, the volume of investments for the projects we have envisioned and already contracted significantly exceeds the capacity of the fund," President Ilham Aliyev said.
