Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar sent a letter of condolences to his Azerbaijani counterpart, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov over the latest provocation by the Armenian Armed Forces on the conditional Azerbaijani-Armenian border on April 11, which resulted in the death of three servicemen.
Report informs via Anadolu Agency that the letter notes that Türkiye and Azerbaijan are always close to each other: "We will continue to support the fair struggle of our Azerbaijani brothers. May God rest the souls of the martyrs. We share the bitterness of the fraternal Azerbaijani people and express our condolences."
