Hakan Fidan: Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Georgia ties are strategic priority

Strengthening ties among Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia is a strategic and political priority in the region, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a press conference held as part of the 10th meeting of the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Report informs that, according to Fidan, joint activity among the three countries is not limited to their own interests.

"Today, the foreign ministers of the three countries discussed the situation in the region. At a time when conflicts are taking place in different parts of the world, the atmosphere of peace and cooperation established by the three countries carries real strategic value," he said.

Fidan noted that the next goal is to build a more integrated region in terms of energy, transport and connectivity.
