Haber Global airs video on third day of WUF13

Türkiye's Haber Global channel has prepared a video report from the third day of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.

According to Report, the material highlighted the participation of more than 40 thousand participants from 182 countries in the forum.

The video material noted that on the third day, interest in the pavilions was particularly high. One of the most attention-grabbing was the Mexico pavilion. Guests there took photos with people in local costumes and danced.

Another eye-catching stand belongs to Türkiye. The television correspondent noted that here, the names of people who approach and show interest are written with special skill by calligraphers. This is met with great interest by the guests.

The forum, organized every two years, is being held in the Caucasus region for the first time. The number of registered participants has already exceeded 45,000, which is considered a record figure. For comparison, 24 thousand people participated in WUF12 held in Egypt two years ago. At the forum held in Baku, the number of participants has more than doubled.

Yesterday, the official opening ceremony of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) took place, and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech at the ceremony.

For information, the forum is jointly organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and the Government of Azerbaijan.

WUF13, hosted by Baku, is considered one of the most important international platforms that will once again direct the world's attention to Azerbaijan.

The forum, dedicated to the theme "Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities," will continue until May 22.
