Gideon Saar: Armenia-Azerbaijan peace will strengthen regional stability

Achieving lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will contribute to strengthening stability and developing cooperation in the South Caucasus.

Report informs that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar shared this on X while commenting on the victory of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's party in the elections.

According to Saar, Pashinyan has steered his country toward peace and brought it to reconciliation with Azerbaijan, which will contribute to strengthening regional stability, as well as cooperation.

According to Armenia's Central Election Commission, the ruling Civil Contract party won the parliamentary elections held on June 7 with 49.825% of the vote. This result allows the party to form a new government.
