Georgia attaches great importance to trilateral cooperation with Turkiye and Azerbaijan, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said at a meeting with the head of the friendship group with the Georgian Parliament Halil Etyemez.
The sides discussed close cooperation between Georgia and Turkiye in various fields and welcomed the intensification of relations between the legislatures.
The meeting also focused on the steps taken to strengthen peace in the region.
Papuashvili thanked Turkiye for its support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
They expressed readiness to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
