Georgia appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Georgia has appointed Giorgi Zakarashvili as its new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Report informs via Georgian media.
Prior to his appointment to Azerbaijan, Zakarashvili headed Georgia's diplomatic mission in Ukraine and served as Georgia's permanent representative to GUAM.
Zurab Pataradze previously served as Georgia's ambassador to Baku. Pataradze currently serves as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
