Gafarova: Slovak firms' role in Karabakh reconstruction reflects sincere friendship

The participation of Slovak companies in the reconstruction of Azerbaijan's liberated territories is an important indicator of the sincere friendship between the two countries, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said.

According to Report, Gafarova made the remarks at an event dedicated to Slovakia's Constitution Day and Armed Forces Day.

"We are pleased with the participation of Slovak companies in the reconstruction of our liberated territories, including the implementation of the Smart Village project in Bash Garvand. This is an important indicator of the sincere friendship between our countries," she said.

Gafarova noted that a school to be established with the support of the leadership of the two countries would become another symbol of Azerbaijan-Slovakia friendship.

The parliament speaker stressed that steps taken to develop bilateral relations, as well as shared approaches and goals, were helping further expand cooperation between Baku and Bratislava.
