French MP: Measures taken on women's rights in Azerbaijan are applaudable

"The measures taken in the direction of development of women's rights in Azerbaijan are applaudable".

Head of the Delegation for Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities for Men and Women at French Parliamentary Assembly deputy Marie-Pierre Rixain told local bureau of Report.

She highly appreciated the work done to develop women's rights in Azerbaijan: "I highly appreciate the participation of women in political positions in Azerbaijan and, in general, the measures taken to ensure the economic independence of women. In the regions of Azerbaijan, opportunities have been created for women to be represented in areas such as science and technology, and take appropriate measures so that they can have different positions and even create their own businesses. Women's rights are highly valued in Azerbaijan”.
