French embassy expresses condolences over Tahir Salahov's death

The French embassy in Azerbaijan has extended its condolences over the death of prominent Azerbaijani artist Tahir Salahov, Report informs, citing the embassy's official page on Facebook.
"The French Embassy is deeply saddened by the news of the death of the famous Azerbaijani painter, Tahir Salahov. Mr. Salahov was made Chevalier of the French Legion of Honor in 2015. The French Embassy expresses its condolences to his family and loved ones," the statement reads.
