"What we saw in Aghdam terrified us. What we see here is heartbreaking," former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told journalists in Aghdam.
Report informs that, according to him, the restoration of the liberated territories will take a long time: "Nevertheless, it is very good that Azerbaijan has regained its sovereignty on its territory. We wish Azerbaijan and Armenia to live in good neighborliness as soon as possible."
A delegation of the US Caspian Policy Center has begun a visit to the liberated city of Aghdam. They are expected to get acquainted with the remains of the Juma Mosque, the Imarat Cemetery, the Bread Museum and the Drama Theater, and the Alley of Martyrs in the Armenian-destroyed Aghdam.
