Former Czech PM: Azerbaijan has created new realities in South Caucasus

Azerbaijan has created new realities in the South Caucasus, Jan Fischer, former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, told Report.

He expressed hope that Azerbaijan would create conditions following the norms of international law in the liberated lands: "We want everything to be good in the Caucasus. Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan live well together."

Jan Ficher recalled that the conflict over Karabakh lasted for many years: "It affected the situation in the region. Now, new realities have emerged. We hope that Azerbaijan will develop the new reality in the region in a more pleasant direction."

The former Prime Minister also spoke about COP29: “This is important not only for Azerbaijan but for the whole world. The climate problem is a problem that concerns the whole world, not individual countries. International organizations and different actors should put all their efforts in this direction so that we live in a better world.”
