Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan receives new ambassador of South Korea

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the new ambassador of South Korea to Baku, Kang Kymgu.

According to Report, during the meeting, the diplomat presented a copy of his credentials to the minister.

Bayramov congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success. The ambassador expressed his readiness to make efforts to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijani-Korean cooperation in economy, investment, education, agriculture, healthcare, and other areas. Special attention was paid to interaction within the framework of Azerbaijan's chairmanship in CICA and Korea's participation in international exhibitions in Baku.

Joint educational projects, including double degree programs between universities, as well as issues of restoration of liberated territories and Azerbaijan's chairmanship at the COP29 conference, were also discussed.
