Foreign Minister: Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy has deeper roots than 30 years

The history of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy has deeper roots than just 30 years, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov told the conference "Azerbaijani-Italian path to multifaceted strategic partnership" at ADA University.

He noted the high level of relations between the two countries, recalling that the countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. According to him, the mutual visits of the two countries' leaders further strengthened the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy.

The minister noted that Italy was one of the first countries whose companies operate in the liberated territories.

Bayramov also noted the high level of trade relations between the countries.

According to the Foreign Minister, the Italian language is taught in Azerbaijan. And thanks to the new agreement on the construction of the Italy-Azerbaijan University, all the necessary areas will be taught there.
