Cassis: 'I use SOCAR's fuel stations in Switzerland'

SOCAR fuel stations are popular in Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, OSCE Chairman-in-Office, has said.

According to Report, speaking during a press briefing in Baku with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, the minister said he uses SOCAR fuel stations while driving.

"SOCAR is a well-known company in Switzerland. When I drive, I sometimes use its fuel stations as well. In some places, they are among the most widespread stations in Switzerland. We have fuel stations belonging to many countries from all over the world," Cassis said.

At the same time, he added that Switzerland is seeking to transition toward a future "without fossil fuels, without oil, and without hydrocarbons."
