Fengqing Li: China maintains dialogue with Azerbaijan on urban planning, climate initiatives

China has established contacts and maintains dialogue with Azerbaijan in the areas of urban planning and climate initiatives, Fengqing Li, a professor at Shanghai University and deputy executive director of the Institute of Urban Renewal and Sustainable Development at the university, who is representing the Chinese pavilion at WUF13 in Baku, told Report.

According to him, potential areas of cooperation are being discussed, including with the participation of international organizations and Chinese companies already working on infrastructure projects in the region.

The professor also shared his impressions of his first visit to Baku as part of WUF13, noting that the city left a positive impression on him.

"Baku is a clean and safe city with friendly people. In many ways, it resembles modern Chinese cities. The forum's atmosphere is characterized by a high level of professionalism and active international interaction," he noted.
