European Commission chief: EU values its partnership with Azerbaijan

"The European Union is committed to secure, stable and prosperous South Caucasus," President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said following her meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku, according to Report.

"We are the leading donor in demining in the country, for example, we have also discussed this very important topic. We have just announced a new 4.25 million euro package for this purpose, but we are also willing to offer machinery and skills in this very important field," she said.

The EU values its partnership with Azerbaijan, the European Commission chief said.
