The draft resolution against Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, which the Armenian delegation showed particular zeal for, was rejected at the Bureau meeting of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
Although the topic of the resolution is Political prisoners, the text includes a call for Azerbaijan to release the supposedly existing 'Armenian prisoners'.
After the delegations of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine presented their logical explanations and positions, despite the objections of the Armenian delegation, the resolution was rejected by the unanimous decision of the participants.
