EU to continue efforts for lasting peace, stability in South Caucasus

The European Union (EU) will continue its efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel said in a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the phone conversation, Charles Michel expressed his concern over the tensions that had broken out in the region lately. He emphasized that the European Union would continue its efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region in accordance with the Brussels peace agenda.
