EU supports direct contacts between Baku and Yerevan

EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar praised the telephone conversation of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Report informs, citing Klaar's Twitter account.
"Important development following last week’s Brussels meeting. EU is supportive of direct contacts & engagement," he tweeted.
He also shared the tape of Baku-Yerevan talks.
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan. The sides had an exchange on the work on preparation of future peace treaty, convening of Joint Border Commission, as well as humanitarian issues.
