Eštok: Slovakia keeps its doors open for co-op with Azerbaijan

Slovakia and Azerbaijan are preparing further high-level visits and plan to expand cooperation in several areas, Marek Eštok, state secretary at Slovakia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, wrote on X.

Report informs that Eštok made the remarks following a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during political consultations in Baku.

He said he was grateful to Bayramov for the productive meeting, which followed their first exchange in Bratislava last December and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on consular cooperation.

Eštok noted that the sides had discussed the Slovak-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.

According to him, the two countries are preparing further high-level visits, while opportunities are open for expanding cooperation in transport, business, smart solutions, energy, culture and education.
