Ersin Tatar: Restoration of Karabakh in shortest possible time makes Northern Cyprus proud

Azerbaijan's restoration of its liberated territories over a five-year period with unprecedented national unity is a source of pride for Northern Cyprus, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar said at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Report informs.

He noted that Karabakh is Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan is Karabakh!

Tatar noted that peace and cooperation are needed in the world and the region today more than ever.

"We strive for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to take its deserved place in the international community. Our membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is already a sign that we are gradually gaining recognition in the international arena," he said.

The head of state stressed that Northern Cyprus has four higher education institutions that are among the top 1,000 universities in the world.

"The potential of our education system allows us to accept 121,000 foreign students. In this direction, I hope for cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan," he added.
