Türkiye welcomes ceasefire between Pakistan and India, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday, Report informs.

The Turkish President stressed that, if necessary, they could mediate in the normalization of relations between Pakistan and India.

Speaking about trilateral (Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Pakistan - ed.) cooperation, Erdogan noted that meetings between foreign ministers would be intensified to develop these relations.

"We will further strengthen our relations as Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Pakistan by holding regular trilateral summits and ministerial meetings. We will also contribute together to cooperation in the fields of defense and transport," Erdogan said.
