Erdogan: Azerbaijan stands by Turkiye in challenging times

Azerbaijan is standing by Turkiye in these challenging times, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Gaziantep airport meeting with employees of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, who delivered humanitarian aid to Turkiye on behalf of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, Report informs.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that he was aware that Azerbaijanis are collecting humanitarian aid for the victims of the earthquake and said that in these difficult days, Azerbaijan is standing by Turkiye, just as Turkiye stood by Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War.

"I express gratitude on my own behalf, on behalf of my family and the people of my country. We are together not only these days; we are together forever. We will continue to be one nation, two states!" Erdogan said.
