Elchin Yusubov: Agdam-Shusha highway construction nearing completion

The construction of the Aghdam-Shusha highway is nearing completion, Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President in the city of Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, said at an event organized within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku on the topic "Post-conflict urban planning: restoration of destroyed identity and rebuilding an integrated future."

Report quotes him as saying large-scale road and transport infrastructure projects are being implemented in the liberated territories.

The Special Representative noted that the construction of the Sugovushan - Sarsang Reservoir - Gozlukörpü - Kalbajar, Sugovushan - Kalbajar - Aghdara - Aghdam, Askaran - Khojaly - Khankandi, and Barda - Aghdam - Asgaran highways is currently underway.
