COP30 executive director: Climate agenda requires constant updating

The climate agenda requires constant review and updating, COP30 Executive Director and Brazil's National Secretary for Climate Change Ana Toni said at the opening of Climate Week 4 in Baku.
According to Report, she noted that efforts to accelerate the implementation of climate action measures are also continuing.
"We are moving from commitments to solutions, and from solutions to implementation. Therefore, a five-year action plan has been adopted within the framework of COP30," Toni said.
She also addressed food security issues arising from climate change.
Concluding her remarks, the COP30 executive director spoke about the upcoming conference in Türkiye.
"We believe that COP31 will witness innovations at various levels. We believe that climate action will be successfully continued in Türkiye, and we view COP31 as an important stage in this process," Toni said.
