Chairman of Russian State Duma arrives in Azerbaijan

Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin arrived on an official visit to Azerbaijan on September 26, Report informs.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were hoisted, Volodin was welcomed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, the Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov, and other officials.
On September 23, 2020, a meeting between the Chairman of the State Duma and the Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova was held in Moscow. He previously paid an official visit to Azerbaijan on June 24-25, 2018.
