Chairman of Bosnian Presidency: Azerbaijan is a true and sincere friend

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic sent a thank you note to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the support that arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the coronavirus pandemic, Report says, citing Bosnian press.

In the most challenging moments, Bosnia and Herzegovina received support from various sides, and one of the countries that have helped citizens and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina is undoubtedly the Republic of Azerbaijan, led by President Ilham Aliyev. We recognize true and sincere friendship in difficult times, and in recent weeks Azerbaijan has shown that it is a real friend of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“On this occasion, I would also like to draw attention to the assistance in the form of medical equipment sent to our country by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, led by the co-president of that organization, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, and the Secretary-General Rovshan Muradov.

Earlier, the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fahrudin Radončić thanked the Azerbaijani government and people for their support.
