Candidate for Kyrgyz ambassador to Azerbaijan named

The Committee of the Kyrgyz Parliament on International Affairs, Defense and Security has approved the candidacy of a member of the Central Election Commission, Kairat Osmonaliev, for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
In an interview with Kyrgyz media, Osmonaliev emphasized that he will make every effort to develop diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
"I think that the potential of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, unfortunately, has not been realized," Osmonaliev said. "There are interesting areas of cooperation related to economic diplomacy."
