Brazilian envoy: Showcasing Azerbaijan's urban planning at WUF13 is essential

The presentation of Azerbaijan's urban planning efforts at the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku is of great importance, Manuel Montenegro, Brazil's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Report.

The ambassador highlighted that the discussions held here will later be presented to the UN General Assembly, which makes them highly significant:

"Another issue I consider very important is the demonstration of Azerbaijan's planned work for the development and reconstruction of cities."

He noted that Brazil's delegation will also showcase its efforts to address existing challenges: "Housing is the foundation of human dignity, equality, and security. In addition, the issue of ecological sustainability is very important, because the climate crisis we are experiencing today affects the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of the population. I believe all the topics to be discussed here are extremely important."
