Borrell notes 'historic opportunity' to achieve lasting peace in South Caucasus

There is a historic opportunity to achieve lasting peace in the South Caucasus, High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Poland, according to Report.
He said they will work with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan [Jeyhun Bayramov] and Armenia [Ararat Mirzoyan] and added that this is a historic opportunity to achieve lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
The EU High Representative urged both sides to take advantage of this opportunity, adding that the EU is ready to contribute in every possible way to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
