Belarus plans agro‑town construction in Karabakh by 2027

Belarus plans to begin construction of an agro‑town in Karabakh together with Azerbaijan in 2027, Belarus's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich told Report's correspondent in Karabakh.

Pinevich highlighted that the project, which will also include several agro‑industrial complexes, is currently being designed.

"We will complete the design of the agro‑town along with some agro‑industrial complexes in 2027. And if everything goes well, we plan to start joint construction there in 2027," the diplomat said.

He also pointed out that in 2027, joint production of elevators is planned in Aghdam with the participation of the Belarusian company Vertus.

"In 2027, in Aghdam, we also plan to establish joint production of Azerbaijani‑made elevators with the participation of the Belarusian side," the ambassador added.
