Bektenov: OTS summit in Kazakhstan to catalyze tech cooperation

The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, to be held this year in Kazakhstan, will focus on artificial intelligence and digital technologies, Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said at the second meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of OTS member states in Baku.

"Kazakhstan plans to hold an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States soon, dedicated to artificial intelligence and digital technology development," the prime minister was quoted by Report as saying.

He added that the upcoming meeting will give a new boost to digital transformation within the OTS and serve as an important catalyst for strategic technological cooperation among member countries.

The informal OTS leaders' summit is scheduled for mid-May in Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
