Bayramov: Armenia must remove territorial claims from constitution

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that territorial claims against Azerbaijan must be removed from Armenia's constitution.

According to Report, Bayramov made the remarks during a press briefing in Baku with Swiss Foreign Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ignazio Cassis.

The minister said that the meeting also addressed issues including the supply of Azerbaijani petroleum products to Armenia and other areas of further development.

Bayramov stated that de facto peace has currently been established between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"The progress achieved is taking place through bilateral negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and we will continue discussions in the future. Regarding the peace agreement, Azerbaijan's stance remains unchanged. A peace agreement is possible if territorial claims against Azerbaijan are removed from the Armenian constitution," Bayramov said.
