Azerbaijanis in Georgia hold festive event in Tbilisi to celebrate Novruz

Azerbaijanis in Georgia held a festive event in Tbilisi to celebrate the Novruz holiday.

According to Report's Georgian bureau, the event was attended by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, embassy staff, representatives of SOCAR, Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Cesar Subari, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani, and Deputy Minister of Reintegration Lia Gigauri.

Levan Ioseliani emphasized the active participation of Azerbaijanis in Georgia’s life, their contribution to the economy and culture of the country. Lia Gigauri called Novruz a symbol of integration and unity.

Ambassador Faig Guliyev stated that this holiday strengthens national identity and unites nations: "The fact that Azerbaijanis in Georgia celebrate Novruz, preserving traditions, is of great significance for Georgia itself."

The event concluded with performances by young actors from the BEEZ Children's Theater and representatives of the arts.
