Azerbaijani Speaker Gafarova joins Srebrenica victims’ commemoration ceremony

As part of her working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova went to the Memorial Center established in memory of the Srebrenica victims, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Parliament.

The speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and guests from other countries, including heads of state and of government, speakers of parliament and official representatives, acquainted themselves with the exhibition ‘In the Footsteps of Those Who Did Not Cross’ first in the course of the commemorative events.

Next, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova signed the book of condolences in the memorial hall.

After that, the victims’ commemoration ceremony was conducted at the Memorial Centre.

The heads of the delegations paid tribute to the memory of the tragedy victims and put flower bouquets at the foot of the Memorial.

Gafarova met with the leaders of parliaments of several countries and had conversations with them in the framework of the ceremony.
