Azerbaijani Prosecutor General attends IAP's conference in Singapore

A delegation led by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev is participating in the 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Singapore, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office told Report.
The conference, themed "The Changing Role of the Prosecutor and the Management of the Criminal Justice System," features discussions on the application of modern information and communication technologies in law enforcement, including the use of artificial intelligence, prosecutorial experience in combating cybercrime, the use of digital evidence in criminal proceedings, strengthening cooperation, and launching joint initiatives to address emerging challenges.
The opening ceremony, which coincides with the IAP's 30th anniversary, was attended by Singapore's President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Attorney-General Lucien Wong, and IAP President Juan Bautista Mahíques.
During the ceremony, IAP leadership recalled the 29th Annual Conference held in Baku last year, emphasizing that it became one of the most prestigious platforms in the Association's history, bringing together the highest number of prosecutors from around the world.
