Azerbaijani PM visits Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent as part of his working visit to Uzbekistan.

Report's Kazakhstan bureau correspondent dispatched to Tashkent informs that the head of government was briefed on the activities of the complex, the exhibitions displayed there, scientific and educational projects, and work carried out to preserve the spiritual heritage of the Islamic world.

It was noted that the Center of Islamic Civilization is one of Uzbekistan's major cultural and scientific complexes. The center presents materials reflecting the contribution of Central Asian countries to the development of science, education, culture and Islamic civilization.

Ali Asadov viewed an exhibition dedicated to the region's prominent thinkers, scholars and theologians, as well as modern digital solutions applied at the center.

The Azerbaijani Prime Minister is visiting the Uzbek capital to attend the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
