Azerbaijani ombudsperson to speak on 'Violation of children's rights during the war' at international conference

Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva will speak on the topic "Violation of children's rights during war" at the international conference "The future of human rights in the 21st century" in Ankara, Aliyeva, who represents Azerbaijan at the international conference, told Report's Ankara bureau.
"I will give information about the Azerbaijani children who were killed during the Khojaly genocide, the violation of the education, health and many basic rights of the children of nearly one million internally displaced persons, the presence of children among the mine victims, and the children who lost their lives as a result of Armenia's missile strikes on Barda, Ganja during the patriotic war," she added.
