Azerbaijani NGO plans to hold protest on missing persons in front of UN office in Geneva

The Karabakh Missing Families Public Union has begun implementing the "Unheard Voice of Missing Families" project.

According to Report, the project is being conducted with financial support from Azerbaijan's State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations, and the goal is to convey Azerbaijani truths to the world.

The main purpose of the project is to hold a peaceful demonstration in front of the UN office in Geneva.

Family members of seven missing persons who disappeared in Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan will participate in the demonstration.

The NGO noted: "We will call on the UN to influence Armenia to convey Azerbaijani truths to the world, raise UN awareness about missing Azerbaijanis, and for Armenia to provide information to the Azerbaijani state and families of the missing about the final fate and burial places of missing Azerbaijanis."

As of June 1, 2025, the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons has registered 3,990 people as missing as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan.
