Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz trade unions expand cooperation

A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation with representatives of the Trade Union Tourism enterprise of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, Report informs.

The participants were briefed on the confederation's work to protect labor rights, safeguard the health of trade union members and organize their recreation, as well as on the mechanism for issuing vouchers through the E-AHIK electronic booking system.

They were also informed about the activities of the Kurort Tourism Information Center and the Council for Tourism and Excursions.

The guests were presented with information on the activities of Kurort CJSC, as well as the reconstruction and digitalization of health resort and tourism facilities.

Kubanychbek Kanybekov, director general of the enterprise, said the delegation had studied conditions at the confederation's health centers, the management system and the range of services provided during the visit, noting that the experience had proved very useful.

Following the meeting, Kurort CJSC and the Trade Union Tourism enterprise signed a memorandum of understanding on sanatorium-resort treatment and tourism.

The document provides for the exchange of experience, implementation of joint initiatives and expansion of cooperation in the sanatorium-resort and tourism sectors.
