The composition of the UN Security Council reflects the realities of the 40s of the last century and does not align with the current realities, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated at the 12th Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
The minister highlighted that despite the challenges created by conflicts, Azerbaijan continues multilateral cooperation: "Azerbaijan prioritizes multilateral relations. We strive to defend our national interests while respecting the interests of others."
Bayramov added that change in the UN is necessary: "The way to achieve this is through unity. Unity also brings change with it."
